Today...

began, early! Was awake around 4.30am, made Dave and I a coffee so we could have that together before he had to get up for his 5.45am taxi and his 7am flight.

The morning was another frosty one, but this time I got some photos ;)

My heart smiled when I saw this little fairy making her own lunch

she chose to have a peanut butter and cheese roll, thank you :)



after lunch the little fairy and I planted some tulip bulbs

well actually she planted I just took photos ;)

and enjoyed the sun.

Yesterday I started making this canvas. I tried a few new things, experimenting again.

Winter Is Approaching

We had our first frost this morning. Knew it was coming! Wanted to take a photo but by the time I was outside with camera... it was gone lol

Was so cold this morning that Elizabeth and I were outside breathing out and watching our breath. Wish I could snap a photo with the steam, but still...



Been an inside, out of the cold, type of day.
Dave had a road trip to Launceston for work and is off to Sydney in the morning, on the first flight out and home on the last plane back in. Roll on the weekend ;)
Jessica went along with Megan to Guides tonight. She enjoyed it but said the late night was tiring... they were home before 7 lol

and I played with my new Smiggle water soluble oil pastels. LOVE THEM. So easy to use and so smooth to apply/wash over.

Looking forward to the week winding down but dreading the weekend (??). Start of the school soccer season so we will have 2 games to get people to, Dave also has a game, Elizabeth has her 6th birthday... and that's just saturday... I think I might need a nap on Sunday, what do you think lol

Tuesday, Toast Day

Today this little fairy

did some fairy dancing and some fairy resting...

made a friend a card...

and then declared it was cold and it should be toast day.

The photo doesn't look appetizing so imagine them hot, with butter and apricot jam and you will see that we enjoyed our toasty lunch :)

T is also for soccer training, brrrr

Jessica is now wearing Megan's old soccer boots and Megan got some new soccer boots today.

In some other news, all you Hobart people Karen's Scrappin' Kupboard is coming to Hobart...

Finally I will leave you with the layout I scrapped today :) Sassafras Lass dominated ;)

and a little American Craft thickers to finish it off just nicely :)

Yay Me!

Today I got everything done that I wanted/needed/had to get done and still had time to scrap a page for me.

I finally finished up all my projects for Scrap-N-Crop's May kit.

This afternoon we picked all the apples off the tree. Most had already fallen so I stewed a BIG pot and Dave has an apple pie in the oven :) Been such a bizarre season. Most of the tomatoes are finished, the apples all gone and still we have raspberries ripening...

PS Lisa (alittlebitofscrap) the pink flowers, I knew I should have taken the time to add names to that post, The hot pink flowers are Pelargoniums or Geraniums (kicking myself for not remembering the name!) and the single pink with the bumble bee is a Dahlia (which I am chuffed I remembered the name of!).

Lunch With Dad and Photos From Facebook

Today Dave had soccer, so the girls and I went and had lunch with Poppy.
He cooked us roast lamb so we were all glad we went ;)

Last time we were there I had wished I had taken my camera, just so I could have some photos for Mum when she gets home. So today I went with my camera :)

I have uploaded the photos on Facebook, so I don't eat into my blogger photo limit again. It's worked, happy with that lol, and here are the photos I took today at Mum and Dad's.

So that's that.

Meant to snow again this week, will take some photos of the mountain if it does!!

Lucy and I went to visit my Great Aunt.
We went to McDonald's for lunch and a play on our way home, because Lucy had been soooo good.





Today.
Made Anzac biscuits minus the coconut, cos I don't like shredded coconut ;)




We talked about why they were called Anzac's and why everyone was talking about them today



They were big and they were yum.




Dave had soccer this afternoon, they lost...
Got to talk to my best buddy Bron, she is in England with her hubby.
It has been cold and wet all day.
