I know I probably say it every month
But the colour versatility,
Of each Cocoa Daisy kit,
Simply blows me away every month.
The June kit was no exception.
I pulled out some red options
And created this page,
Of our latest birthday girl.
I used a photo of when she was three
And journaling straight from the Instagram post
I had typed with the photo.
I also cut the feathers from one of the Day In The Life Cards.
For the next page I pulled out some blue options.
Cut out the cute pirate from an October Afternoon die cut.
I coloured the grey alpha stickers
With some blue nail polish
And then swiped the bottom halves with a white sharpie pen.
Then I had some alphas that were perfect for this page.
Love that Cocoa Daisy now has a "Build Your Own Add On" option.
Means you can add the embellishments you will use
And leave out the ones you won't.
My last page was totally inspired by one of those options.
A sticker sheet from Basic Grey.
I used the triangle stickers as the jump off point for my page,
Hand cutting some more from papers in the main kit.
I also cut one of the free printables and added that to my page.
And tried to add some depth with other interesting things.
The whole triangle design thing scared me
But I'm happy I dived in and gave it a go.
Because that photo was perfect for cutting up!
Looks great, I love the red
