Give him a wall frame, some burnt orange paint and a zillion drill bits
And he will create a great creative space.
And I got to make a movie about it!

They Could Not Communicate How Much They Wanna Say
As promised I’m back with some photos of my reorganised scrap space
First I want to show you how my space HAS been
This was it back in May 2009
then in May 2011
Please note all the things being stored under the table
Please note all the snaplock bags that make great (and cheap) storage solutions
And now…
Drumroll please lol
My scrap space January 2012
Please note all the ROOM under the table
Dave added a desk so I now have more room
My sewing machine has been sitting out on my table for quite a while
and now it has a spot all to itself
Please note the new drawers
Goodbye snaplock bags (although I still use them to separate different things)
Loving the extra table room
and thought I might make a little video to show you some of the things that are within my space
Will share that once I’ve made it

This Sight Needs More Light
and I have been keeping my eye open for something to help boost the amount of light at my table
Well, imagine my joy when I received an email asking me to do a review for the lighting store buysterlighting
buyster is an Australian Online retail company and already have 10 different stores to browse through, these include kitchenware, kids furniture and even tapware, so you can even get the kitchen sink!!
I started browsing through the lighting avaliable and was in awe
So many gorgeous lights, practical lamps and other lighting requirements, my eyes were swooning when I saw the colour range avaliable on some of the lines!!
At very reasonable prices the choices made the choice of choosing even harder!!!
Looking forward to seeing my lil' table in a new light, although I think it will still be as messy ;)

100% Better
Thanks for the 'feel better' messages, appreciated your kind thoughts :)
This morning Megan had a birthday party to go to so we spent the day around home.
Saw a garage sale around the corner, as I drove home from dropping Megan off, so we walked up and spent some money :)
Lucy wanted these sunnies :)
Jessica found a 'treasure box' and Elizabeth snaffled up these blocks, which have been played with since getting home!
This afternoon I decided to clean this
so it now looks like this
Added this to the wall

**WARNING** Photo overload
Thought I would share some photos of my scrappy space, yes jumping on the band wagon!!
So this is where I sit to scrap.
Behind the wall on the right is the lounge and along that wall is my computer (and Daves, yes we sit side by side). Right behind me is a nook where the sewing machine lives.
Above, on shelves, are my most loved scrap mags, cardboard and other bits and pieces. I store my MM foam stamps by hanging them off a box lip with pegs
Very cute little pegs ;)
This is my tissue paper, cardboard, bubble warp box
I keep all my paper scraps, even small pieces. I store them in this clear bag and that also lives under the table.
Next to my table is a book case. On top of that I storeMy buttons

Quotes from the kids or page ideas are stored here, just couldn't throw it out and can't find the other one!

Use a pot rack to store my punches, paints etc
Covered some tins with PP and ribbon and made a pen box, pencil tin, ink pad tin and a tin for my threads.
This cool noodle box was made by Josiane and given to me for Christmas, now its used to store my scrappy fabric!
The fairy floss container came in handy, use it to store all my chipboard.
So there you have it!! Thats my scrap area, until the table is needed for something else then everything gets pulled off it lol
So on to other stuffs :) Here is photo of my cool Happy Mail from Marlies, thanks again!!

Today Lucy and I went and picked up 2, yes 2!!, of these
Got them through Freecycle. Love this concept and highly recommend joining one in your area. So now I have a type writer I can use it for things like this :)
Speaking of Megan, she jumped in the deep end at swimming today!! Very brave and I am very proud :0)
I also completed another page in my art Journal today.
I wanted it to be an exclamation (!) rather than a question and feel that it applies to so may things in my life not just my art journal or scrapbooking. I want to add colour to people's lives. Thanks for visiting :)

I have a clean scrap storage space!

Hoping it will allow me to use things more often, rather than being unenthused about trying to find or unpack things. So now things are a little more accessible and easier to find. Love the bottles that store my buttons and the metal stand (that was my sisters pot plant holder) that now stores paints, stamps and punches. Love that my magazines are now easier to get at when I need them, the little coloured pegs I found in Big W are great for hanging my foam stamps and that my odds and ends have baskets I can get at to!! Noice!
