Is out now.
I love that Kim doesn't forget the mixed media side of scrapping.
This issue has a stencil feature.
This is the page I created.
I used a stencil from Flutterby Designs
I added a punched bird from Cocoa Daisy DITL card.
Added a water colour wash
And my words.
The results....
Alphabet: American Crafts. Embellishments: Cocoa Daisy printable, DITL card and diecuts,
My Mind's Eye enamel dots, Flutterby Designs wood bits and flair.
Other: Circle Punch, thread, type writer, acrylic paint,
water colour paint, foam tape, ink, nail polish, sharpie pen.
Love the color wash! It sure makes the photo pop. Do you clear gesso before adding color? Thank you for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThank you (again) for your kind comments. I don't add anything, just whack the paint on to the page and see what happens. I do it this way for a couple of reasons. Firstly because I love the texture of the cardstock to show through and secondly patience... I just can't wait for things to dry!!
