Don’t you love it when you turn inspiration into a creation??
I ordered a scrapmatts filmstrip a while ago
I knew how I wanted to use it
Just hadn’t had the inspiration to use it how I wanted to
Until today
and I loved how it turned out
I used papers from the January Cocoa Daisy kits
and told a story to go with one of my new favourite photos of the girls (hence the new blog banner lol)
Spy the heart?
It’s from a Topiaries pack
Something else that has been inspiring me
Pinterest
What’s not to be inspired by??!!
I had pinned this card
and was inspired to create this card (using a Scrapmatts Reindeer)
I also made this card
It uses a Christmas Ornament
I backed it with a punched circle from a Darkroom Door Montage (Yuletide)
and I cut the words from the Yuletide Wordstrip
In December Scrapmatts had a 12 Days of Christmas challenge
Here is my page, using flourishes
I coloured them with a blue chalk pen
wondered if it would work
and it did
and the journaling
and it wasn’t just scrappy inspiration that had us creating today
White Wings had us inspired
With their Double Choc Fudge Brownie Mix
and I have to say
the BEST brownies I’ve ever had
Delish!!!
Gotta love that type of inspiration lol
Oh I've just enjoyed having a look at the latest offerings on your bloggy! I've found myself looking at scrapbook pages lately and thinking Hmmmm I think I'm going to do more paper-layery pages this month. Less paint more scrap I say! Oh and the little cards were were really sweet. I love anything krafty! Deb xox
ReplyDeleteSome fab pages - especially love the top one with the fiskars film strip. Such a good idea to use it for the title instead of for photos!
