4 Sleeps...

Last night we made 2, yes 2, more batches of Christmas biscuits, tonight we must ice them!!

Hey Grandma, do you recognise the tin??!! Yes we still use it and love it ;) See the man Dave made, sitting there on top! Love left over dough ;)

Today we were invited to Allison's for her Day Care Christmas Party. The girls LOVED it and didn't' stop talking about it when Dave got home! Speaking of Dave, look what he did to his toe, on Wednesday, while playing 'hallway soccer' with Megan and her friend! He kicked the floor! OUCH!

Well with 4 sleeps to go I have to say I have a problem!! My problem is that I love the give. I love to give presents! I love to give to everyone and anyone! If I had the time I would do this!!!! I am not one of these people that shortens their Christmas list each year, I am someone who is adding to it! I love to give and feeling that this year I have to finally admit I have a problem with giving!! And now that I have admitted it I also have to say I don't think that I am going to change any time soon ;)
I love this time of year I LOVE IT!! I love being able to give, I love being able to give to those who I love, I love being able to give to say thank you and I love being able to give without people knowing they were going to have something given to them!
Tomorrow we will finish our Christmas shopping. Tomorrow we take the girls to buy for each other and us. I love that this has become a family tradition. I love that they enjoy giving. I hope they are always wonderful givers and thankful givers too! This time of year I love remembering all I am thankful for and thankful that God was a giver too.
Are you a giver?
Thanks for visiting :)

  4. wow that toe loks like it hurts. Must be a thing going around, my dad, broke his foot and had to have surgery.
I love to give too, I wish I had more $ to give to more so this year I have made cookie baskets and mini albums.
    Have a great Christmas!

  5. That toe looks mighty painful :S

And yes! I'm a giver too! That is what Christmas is all about. I spend WAY too much money and put LOADS of effort into presents at Christmas, but I just love giving! It makes me so happy to see people I love opening their presents :)

    Merry Christmas!

I recognised the tin!!! I am about to make some more biscuits this morning as it is a cold wet day and so a good day for cooking. Thinking of you all as you do the family shopping and hope you have a great time on Christmas Eve doing your secret present "dropping off" to people.
