Everything Is Satisfactual

School went back this week.
It feels like school holidays were such a long time ago!
The week has definitely flown by super quick.
It’s been a week where I uttered the words
”The calendar is filling up”.
It’s a week where I have started to feel the end of year stress come over me.
It’s times like these where being at my scrap table is even more important.

Time to slow things down.

Time to reflect.

Time to be creative.

Time to release memories on to paper.

This story has been waiting to be told.

I created two layouts using the Milkshake Chic range from FabScraps 

This one is all about our love of Rock n Roll

Nah not really lol
It is about…

With some Rock n Roll thrown in

To create something a little bit grungy, a little bit pastel and a whole lot of fun

The second page is also pastel

But tells a completely different story

But still one shared with Grandma

Because we love those moments

And I am glad to be able to capture them.

I altered a Rock & Roll chipboard clock

Emphasising the necessary 8 and using the clock hands as arrows

I love that our girls enjoy using their imaginations when they play.
I love capturing those moments.
And I love scrapping them.

Take Heart Because You’re Art

Yesterday was my day to post over on the D-lish Scraps blog
I had fun making these pages

I’ve used washi tape, bright star buttons, Orange sequins and Peacock Blue sequins
Mixed in some Scrapmatts Christmas stars (because I love stars!)

some gold photo corners that I altered with some 3D paint

Did I mention this page was fun to make??

So was this one!

Fun with washi tape, tiny heart buttons and rhinestones

a Fabscraps butterfly

and a Scrapmatts pin and a Scrapmatts “Love”

And finally this page

It was good to return to “repurposing” packaging and bits of paper
Rather than using pattern paper

I’ve played with some washi tape, crochet flowers (double layered 30mm),

tiny retro buttons, red spot buttons, camera charms and flair

and a little journaling

Love that I can have fun documenting the fun things in life.
The fun things and the not fun things
They all need to be remembered.
