Your Gift Is My Gust Of Wind

I haven’t had many work days so far this year.
Which has been ok.
Ok because it’s meant I’ve had a little more time to play.
And play is what I’ve done with these Scrapmatts Tags and ATC.

I just love this tag.
I’ve used the new Scrapmatts Silhouettes Pack, a “moments” that I removed the “s”
on a new Scrapmatts Tag

For this ATC I used a House ATC.
With a brand new Scrapmatts Word pack.
I’ve also used some of Louise Nelson’s gorgeous hand carved stamps.

And my last tag I’ve used a Sewing Spool tag
and topped it with the gorgeous spool and needle from the Sewing Pack.
The triangle arrow is excess from the Scrapmatts Flags

See, aren’t the spool and needle just gorgeous?

Rainbows Falling Down On Me

With all the cleaning my scrap space was dismantled
But now it’s back and better than ever
I will take a photo tomorrow so you can see
I’d been waiting for ‘my space’ so I could continue creating with the January Cocoa Daisy kit
”Tea and Cupcakes” is a gorgeous combination of colours through an array of papers and embellishments
I also purchased some addons “Red Velvet”,  “Whipped Cream and Sprinkles” and “Cream and Sugar”
Lots to play with and I still am
But for now here are my creations so far

I sprayed with October Afternoon Wheatfield Mist
Love the Crate stickers, which is where the “Hello” sticker is from

A while ago now the lovely Linda sent me a copy of Marthe Le Van’s Stencil Me In
I have been coveting it ever since
Until now
The Lady/girl stencil was perfect for this page
So I used it, along with some Purple glimmer mist, right here

and the journaling

Moving right along, third page

I cut up a Sassafras Lass sticker

added a Sassafras Lass flower middle

an American Crafts tag and felt cupcake

and added the journaling to a Sass Lass journal tag
I love that this months kits have loads of Sassafras Lass
Going to miss their products

I also used some Sassafras Lass stickers with some Crate stickers
To make this quick ATC

Also available this month is a Julie Fei-Fan Balzer’s The Crafters Workshop stencil

I used it twice
On this project I sprayed the “top” with some Studio Calico Atmosphere Mr Huey
Flipped it onto my paper and stamped the words onto the cardstock
I then cleaned off the stencil
and used it as a mask while I sprayed a rainbow of colours over the top
I then sprayed some white Mr Huey before drawing around the letters

on the second project I reversed the process

I sprayed a rainbow of colours
Then added the stencil
before misting over the top with the Atmosphere Mr Huey

All of this made me wish I had a 12x12 canvas
But I did enjoy playing and getting inky

Everything Is Satisfactual

The August “Siren’s Call” kit from Cocoa Daisy is full of amazing bits and pieces
Gorgeous pattern paper
including a sheet from Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon
these two papers just screamed ATC to me
so I listened to the scream and made not one but 2!

both have little words that I needed to be reminded of

I used some water colours to paint the figures
fun
some mist and some paint
fun

For Christmas Miss Jessica found a pottery wheel in her Santa sack
Back in January she played and made a very cool little pot
and the photos have been waiting since then

I just love alpha sticker backing sheets and the October Afternoon sheet was perfect for this page

Sweet Dreams Till Sunbeams Find You

A busy day
But had time to have a little play
with a word from Scrapmatts
and one of the cool Steampunk figures from Altered Artifacts
to create this simple ATC

Follow Your Star, It Will Lead You Somewhere

Today I posted off some ATCs
I made them as part of a swap over at Cocoa Daisy
The theme was Mid Summers Night Dream so I played with some quotes
and some Altered Artifacts steampunk characters

 

 

and then I made an extra one, because I was having fun

The Clouds Came Tumbling Down

She is home!!!

her plane actually landed a little ahead of schedule
and she had a marvellous time at Grandma’s house
Thank you Grandma
so now we are all home again
a big sense of relief!
While away I scrapped this page
it didn’t feel complete but I didn’t know what else to do with it
so I did nothing and am happy with that

I used a new alpha template that I purchased from a Brisbane art shop
and some denim Glimmer Mist, which I found at the expo

a touch of colour

and a luggage tag for journaling

it all seems a little perfect to me
oh and….
Last month the lovely Lee asked if I’d be a Guest over at the cool Simply ATC
I haven’t made many ATCs but thought what a great chance to play
and play I did

Someone’s Been Sitting In My Chair

Today we started with porridge
A holiday treat
Some had it with milk, honey and sultanas

I haven’t been creating anything scrappy since the school holidays started
But before the school holidays I had made a few ATCs (Artist Trading Cards)
This one features a Scrapmatts Butterfly

The ATCs are now on their way to Brisbane for the Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo
Something else I had been working on for a while is a canvas
