"Hello Bug!" - Kraft Plus April 2017 Challenge

April has certainly started with a fresh feeling.
The new challenge that is over on Kraft Plus
Certainly adds to the freshness of April.
It's all about paint chips and there is nothing
Like a coat of paint to freshen things up!

I kept things simple this month
And using my poor neglected Silhouette Cameo
I cut the title out of my paint chip.

Then, using foam tape, I placed each letter back over the negative space.

Make sure you check out what the rest of the Design Team and guests created.
Very inspiring!

Jot Magazine Issue 10 - "This"

Have you ever made your own title for a scrap page?
Jot Magazine Issue 10 has a whole section
With lots of cool ideas for making your own titles.

IMG_7672

To create mine I used a cut file from Cocoa Daisy
And, with the sketch pens, drew on some canvas paper
Using the Silhouette Cameo.

IMG_7673

I then used some alpha cut files
And cut each, again with the Silhouette.
I then altered the canvas with some spray ink.

IMG_7674

To make the rest of the page
I used a bunch of products from Heidi Swapp

Really enjoyed playing with the new foil products that Heidi has out.

Make sure you check out the new Issue of Jot
It has much that will inspire.

Jot Magazine - “Family”

Jot Magazine issue 9 holds a section on hand stitching.

IMG_6670

Hand stitching is something I dread.
Makes me think of mending clothes!
But I was up for the challenge.
Instead of outlining my photo with a pen
I stitched around it.

IMG_6671
I also added some off cuts
From my “Änzac Parade” page

IMG_6672

And some wood veneer from Flutterby Designs

IMG_6673

Everything else was pulled from the February Cocoa Daisy kits.

IMG_6675

Why, yes, that is ribbon under the dymo tape.
And why, yes, that is ribbon up in the top corner.

Loved that Cocoa Daisy card
The quote was just perfect.

“Deer Paul”

Sometimes it is good to document those “had to be there” moments.
This is one of those.

Jot December Mood Board

Have you seen the Mood Board, at Jot Magazine,  for December?

December 2014 Mood Boardsmall

Make sure you jump over to Jot and see what inspiration has been created from the Mood Board.

I created a background using a cut file, from Nicole Nowosad, and a pen in the Silhouette Cameo.

Cocoa Daisy – Reveal – October 2014 “Blue Ridge”

Reveal of October’s Cocoa Daisy kit has been.
I was in Canberra, holidaying with Jessica, while it happened.
So I can now show you the pages I made using the main kit, “Blue Ridge”
And all the add ons, including the Day In The Life kit.

IMG_4630

I had to use that die cut rabbit.
It’s one of the nicknames we have for Megan.

IMG_4631

I just love this photo of her.

IMG_4632

Adore the vellum stickers that are in the “Crabtree Falls” add on

IMG_4633

And oh oh oh (!!!) there is vellum in the main “Blue Ridge” kit too
Just loved this exclusive pattern paper
AND
The wood grain sequins
AND
The glittery gold circle stickers
AND
The die cuts are yummalicious!

Next up is my new favourite layout.

IMG_4957

I’ve used some fun photos taken while Jessica and I were away.

IMG_4958

I’ve included bits from the main kit, Day In The Life kit,
Crabtree Falls and Parkway add ons

IMG_4959

I also cut up some of the exclusive pattern paper to create the title.

IMG_4961

I altered the wood veneer with some nail polish
It’s mounted on a Fancy Pants flair, which is topped with a die cut heart from Crate.

This last page features one of the file cuts from Cocoa Daisy.

IMG_4975

I’ve also used bits from all the kits.

IMG_4976

Excuse the spelling mistake, but that’s one of the reasons I love typewriters…

IMG_4977

Just loved this file cut and had to use it as a feature.

Loving all the things that went into this month’s kits.
Lots to play with
Lots of options
Love that!
