or should that be getting back in the computer chair???
I know I promised holiday snaps but I don’t think I’m going to get the time to put them all on here so you will just have to get each story as I scrap the photos, and there are a few ;)
Scrapped this page on Saturday, as a ‘stop and sit’ time between hospital visits
On our way up to the boat we called into a cheese factory, Ashgrove, and in the entrance there were a number of ‘cows’ that local community groups had ‘dressed up’ as part of their Cow Art Project
Took photos of a few but started with this one and Megan
Love the mix of the old Sassafras Lass with the new, which I picked up from the local scrap shop near Grandma’s house
And the journaling
Don’t you just love his teeth??!!!
Yes that’s right all this week Suzie has been celebrating the 1st birthday of Love Scrappin’ and you can save with her 15% off sale, just for this week. She is also having a RAK on her blog so why not go visit her blog to say happy birthday :) What are you waiting for??!!
A day around home for Lucy and I tomorrow, yay, and I hope to pull out some more of the holiday snaps :)
Thanks to all those who have left supportive comments over the last week or have emailed me. I have read and appreciated each of them, hugs and thanks :) She died peacefully, as she wanted, and at 96 had a very full life. Now I just need to get mine back on to an even keel because it has been so full of late I seem to have lost the routine somewhere and need to pick it back up again :)
PS Rainy, I will try to remember to give a little rundown on how I made the pocket for the travel journal soon :) Love questions like that :)

ReplyDeleteI would like to say so many things, but I think the comment box is such a difficult place to say it so I instead will comment on your happy cow.
ReplyDeleteYour layout of the cow intrigued me so much that I had go look them up. Very unique and creative. I would love to see them in person - with you of course. :-) But that will have to wait a few years. Until then, I shall just enjoy your stories.
Peace to you Sharmaine-
ReplyDeleteand love the hippy cow so much!
