I’ve Been Scrapping At School

I have!

100_1623com

Megan’s teacher approached me about teaching the kids in his class how to scrapbook
He wanted them to cover a small exercise book and then fill it with different things they do throughout the year
Things that they might appreciate looking back on in the future
Things that they might want to write down to look back on in the future
So I said yes, of course
I was a little surprised when he introduced me as “a world renowned scrapbooker, with her own website, who has come to show us some tricks of the trade”…
I didn’t have to wonder long as to who had filled him up with unsubstantiated stories, although a blog is a website, right?? lol
But I did spend the day showing them different things and having fun
We played with paper, glue and paint and I when I saw their books again the following week they looked amazing!
Hoping to get back into Megan’s classroom soon so I can show them some more '”tricks of the trade” :)
I think I might now have the label of “the crafty lady” amongst the staff though, because Jessica’s teacher has asked me to come and help her make some 3D flowers next term. Seems the “world renowned” rumor went beyond the classroom walls!
Oh well, I can only take little steps in my world domination and get one class scrapping at a time hehehe
