but until today that wasn’t true
Today I spent most of the day in bed
Trying TRYING to get warm and get better
I finally got with the trendy
Succumbed and joined the masses
I GOT ME A COLD
An icky YUCKY cold
Didn’t want to
I tried hard not to
But it just wasn’t to be
So today I made the most of the “all the kids at school” day and went back to bed
Sadly not much sleep happened
Sadly it didn’t help to warm me up much
But I did get some rest and I thought I would pull up my bloggy socks and update this poor old thing
The end of May saw Dave away for almost 2 weeks
He was in China for work
We found out all about the Great Firewall of China
He couldn’t read my blog
He couldn’t read facebook
But he could use skype
So we did :)
For Elizabeth’s birthday, back at the beginning of May, Dave gave her an envelope
In it contained a card with a question
He asked her if she and her sisters would like to fly to Melbourne to meet him when he returned to Australia
And from there have a holiday at Grandma’s house, for the school holidays
She, of course, said YES!!!
He also had an envelope for me
Asking if I would go to Brisbane with him
He flew back into Australia on the Friday and then had to go up to Brisbane on the Monday
To go to Uni and would be there for 3 nights
So, of course, I said YES!!!!
So as you can probably see life has been busy busy busy
But I will go slow for you and do just a couple of posts a day ;)
