Thought I would do a catch up post
Fill you in what has been happening around here
Well going back to Thursday…
Lucy was Star of the Week at school
Everyone gets to have a turn and this week it was Lucy’s turn
Being star of the week means she gets to wear the badge, be the leader when they go anywhere, ring the ‘sit on the mat’ bell
You know… star-y things 
Friday
I picked Dave’s Mum up
Uncle Samuel, Dave’s youngest brother, came for dinner
Dinner being Happy Wedding Eve dinner
and Dinner being pizza 
Later Grandma and Uncle Samuel went to the airport and collected Grandma’s sister
Later still Dave and Uncle Samuel went to a hotel and spent Wedding Eve there
Saturday
Us girls enjoyed a slow morning
Some shopping
and some wedding day luncheon-ing
with ham+cheese croissants, fruit platter and some fizzy grape juice
In the afternoon we all enjoyed Uncle Samuel (and Louise’s) wedding
Sunday
2 trips to the airport
1 hour nap
500000 kilo of leftover wedding cake delivered, by Uncle Samuel and “AUNTY” Louise
4 leftover dinners served to 4 girls at dinner time
Monday
Spent the morning at Mum and Dads
Returning one of the M&M’s shoes (left here when my sister babysat the girls)
Also took a small portion of the leftover cake
Spent the afternoon dealing with washing (which is also what I did this afternoon)
Tuesday
Today
Spent the morning at the Botanical Gardens
Lucy and I spent the time with the M&Ms
which is always good
We had fun
Walked through the fern house
Got drenched because the sprinklers were on
Pretended branches, from a palm type tree, were horses, brooms and tails
Found lots of places where fairies might have lived
We had fun
and we made friends with a duck
Or rather a duck wanted to eat some biscuits
He kept sneaking up on the M&Ms and would try to snatch their biscuits away
Was rather funny
So there
