Tuesday was nicer than Monday
Yesterday I started to play using a coffee stain technique Denise shared, as part of a challenge, at Cocoa Daisy
Here’s the page I created for the challenge
I did have fun with the coffee, stained some tags
some paper, some calico strips and my fingers lol
some of the strips I turned into this rolled flower
I just love coffee cup stains, sigh
and my journaling, about yesterday
Another Cocoa Daisy challenge that I had a play with was Danielle’s
Her challenge was to create with the colour combo of teal, yellow and pink
painted up a Maya Road chipboard girl, added some glitter and Maya Road trim
added some pieces from Cosmo Cricket and The Girls Paperie
Love the white Mister Huey, from Studio Calico, but my one criticism is…
that the bottle is too small and I am almost all out!
Thanks Tuesday for being nice
Hope you have a word with Wednesday and show it how to be nice too
Oh so pretty..I love the coffee stains....they turned out perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteThe pic on the second one with all the girls and their socks is just tooooo precious!!!
Hoping Wednesday is a good one...We are so filled with rain and dreary days!!! Now they have flood watches up!!! YUCK!!!
Nice pages.
ReplyDeleteQuestion:
Aren't you worried about the acidity level of the coffee eventually decaying your layouts or did you use distressing ink like from Tim Holtz or something? I like the look, however.
hello Sharmaine
ReplyDeleteyou always rock the layouts. i love the coffee stained page and those colors on the other one are some of my favorite to work with.
i have to say that you're photos are always so beautiful and interesting. i love the way you crop them and use color to tell your story. it doesn't hurt that your subjects are so stinking adorable!
Love these too! So very cool looking! Great pic in that first one!
