Look At The Starry Skies

Today was my day

IMG_3541com

wasn’t going to do much
but surprise surprise
I did!
This morning I added some icing to a few cupcakes
ready for Jessica to take to school
to be devoured
and help her start her birthday celebrations

the cupcakes are amazingly good
I used the cake recipe found here
but just turned them into cupcakes instead of a cake
Did I mention they are delishy????!!!
I love it when I can create a page using a photo taken the same day
and today was one of those days

I splattered some Mister Huey on the black cardstock
then used some Zing embossing powder to heat emboss the splats

Also used black cardstock to back the Echo Park alphas
and then cut around them

and finally I used a Girl’s Paperie die cut for the journaling

also today I roasted some pumpkin
was going to make a spinach + feta + pumpkin salad
But ended up trying to turn it into a pie instead
was yummy but have to figure out a way to bind it all because it was a little mushy

ps the chicken was cooked in a marinade of lemon zest, thyme and olive oil, thanks to Justine
