If All The World Were Apple Pie

Did I tell you I just love the October kit from Cocoa Daisy??
Well it’s true!
Farmer’s Market has lots of fabulous products and so far I have now made 3 layouts and 2 cards
So rather than bombard you with one big post
I thought I would take the time to show you each creation separately
because I have a little technique to share with each
This is my first page

Apart from the main kit I also used the ‘Canned Peaches’ and ‘Apple Pie’  addons
I used the gorgeous apple stamp, in the ‘Apple Pie’ kit
I then layered it up
I punched out the middle of a Jillibean Soup ‘Apple Cheddar’ Diecut Shape
and topped it with one of the American Crafts flair

in honour of the wonderful Emily Pitts joining the Cocoa Daisy team I hand cut my part of my title

I ruffled some pattern paper strips

and I made a journal block
using one of the pages from the Maya Road Apple Chipboard Coaster album (available in the Apple Pie Addon)
I covered it with some of the Crate pattern paper
stitched around the shape

To make my journaling stand out
I printed it out onto acetate
and then, turning the page over, I ran a white paint pen over each line of journaling
making the journaling pop against the pattern paper

Back later with another page and another technique
