Cocoa Daisy April “Forecast” Reveal

The April Cocoa Daisy kits have been revealed
Subscribers have been purchasing
And on the first (US time) everyone else gets the chance to buy.
I purchased everything
Because it was just too hard to say no!
My first page was created using lots of pieces from the “Wellies” add on

I also used the “Tiny Circles” 12x12 Crafter’s Workshop stencil

Some Jillibean Soup die cuts

and my trusty Dymo

My second page came about after meeting Ebony Van Der Starre
at the recent Escape 2 Create retreat (more on that coming soon!)

Ebony is one of the kindest people you will meet (she even told me so!!!)
She is also super sweet and arty!
I sat next to her at the retreat
and fell in love with my texture paste, mists and paints all over again!
We have similar scrap styles but, while I like linear and straight, Ebony loves circles.
And she rocks at them!!
So I was inspired to add some to my page

She also rocks at outlining

and doodling

IMG_5906

so they were added to the page too!
I used the cloud stamp, found in the main “Forecast” kit, as a scalloped border.

Thanks Ebony for being so inspiring!
You are too kind!

and finally,
my final page

IMG_5912

I pulled off some of the sticker backing sheet,
from the Jillibean Soup stickers (found in the “Bumbershoot” add on)

IMG_5914

added a little embossing, in Denim,

using the Cocoa Daisy star stamp.

AND
I haven’t mentioned the colours in the kits
Love the pops of yellow, blue and grey…

mixed with plenty of refreshing green and splashes of red and brown.
Lots of possibilities (as usual)
And you can always expect something different with Cocoa Daisy!!
