Hi! Welcome to my stop on the Cocoa Daisy Day of Inspiration Blog Hop!
You should have come from Mandy Kay Starner’s blog.
The team were all given a Maya Road canvas hip bag to alter,
And we are sharing them with you today,
As part of our Inspiration Day and Blog Hop.
If you’re starting here, be sure to go to the Cocoa Daisy blog
and check out the rest of the team’s bags!
Here’s my Maya Road hip bag.
HipBagCocoaDaisy
I’ve dyed it yellow before playing with paint and ink.
I was inspired by the colours, design and print on this piece of artwork.

I found the art on pinterest,
it was linked back to "My Soul Soup",
but the pinterest link  now goes to an empty page.
As part of the blog hop I have not one but two Cocoa Daisy stamps to giveaway!
And I am giving you not one but two chances to win!
To enter all you have to do is leave a comment,
and tell me your idea for a stamp design
.
For a second entry
LIKE the Cocoa Daisy Facebook page,
and tell me, in a comment, that you have.
Entries close Monday the 6th of May at 8 AM EST (Monday 10pm Aussie Time).
I’ll announce the winner here on Tuesday.
Good luck!
Now it’s back on to the blog hop!
You are now off to visit the cool Stephanie Wheeler

Yes I am a FB follower too :-)
and you know what I'd like to see is a background stamp that looks like the folds in long drapes.

  2. Oh I love your bag and the colors that remind me why I love spring so much. I have LIKED CD on FB already. My idea for a stamp set woould be something with making a difference in your world and walk daily. RAK someone today. DIAL in today. (Deliberate Intentional Act of Love). Uplifting and then more stamps for cheer and teens. Anything would be great!@ Happy NSD today.

  4. This is so super artistic. If I designed a stamp I would have to add butterflies and a "Have a Happy Day" greeting. :)

  6. Love your bag... it's totally YOU!
Ummm.... my stamp idea would be journaling stamps for quotes. So it would be something like "..." with a few lines in it. Does that make sense?!! LOL!

  13. I love how you've taken your inspiration piece and made it your own! The colors are so cheery, and the stamping is great--reminds me of stitching. Your quote reminds me of something my son might say to me. ;) Cute!

And my idea for a CD stamp is a lightbulb. Often when I am journaling I come up with ideas that I don't want to forget so I draw a lightbulb in the margin so it is easy to go back and find all my "bright ideas". :)

  15. I love quotes and this is no exception. Love your inspiration piece which is quite timely for me right now as you see we lost our beloved pug 3 wks ago. So my idea for a stamp set would be dog quotes like: "The dog represents all that is best in mankind".....there are so many. Here is a link to one of the sites I use for pages: http://www.indianpetshop.com/pet-quotes/48-pet-quotes/90-pet-quotes.html
I've also liked CD on FB and tagged two friends with the site (one is the owner of a fabulous store in San Jose...Scrapbook Island. Laurie is fabulous.

  16. Oh I love this! Very pretty piece! Thanks for the chance to win! Stamp idea...triangles seem to be popular now so maybe something along the lines of triangles in a pattern.

  17. That's a toughie... everyone else seems to be more creative than I am so I'm not sure. I do like stamp sets where you use the pieces to make something (like build cupcakes or make a cityscape). So maybe something like that.

    Thanks for the giveaway!
