REVIEW – Dettol

misstiina_iheartpatternsno1

Yes, that’s right!
This week is review week on my blog.
I’ve got lots of different things to review and to kick start it off….

Did you know that Dettol has just been announced, for the second year in a row,
as the most trusted brand in a recent Australian Reader's Digest survey.
I know that it was one of the reasons I jumped at the chance to do this review.
When I see the name Dettol I think of “kills 99.9% of germs” and trust it to be a quality product that does the job.
We were sent a bottle of the new “Power & Pure Multi Purpose trigger spray
and a tub of the “Power & Pure Multi Purpose Kitchen Wipes” to trial.
And I can tell you it certainly does the trick when it comes to cleaning and giving a sparkle to the kitchen!

I started by spraying down the kitchen sink and walls, which always look grimy

And was very impressed with how clean this area became, the spray leaves no residue like other cleaners do.
Next up I gave the wipes a test run, hitting the kitchen bench.

I don’t know about in your house but our kitchen bench would be high on the list of “Germs live here” areas.
Our bench gets used for food preparation
as well as a drop off area for school bags, lunchboxes, newsletters, art work and so on!
So it gets a good workout and is often in need of a wipe down.
The Dettol wipes were really easy to use and, again, didn’t leave a residue on the cleaned surface.
I was impressed with the level of dirt it lifted and will sleep easy knowing
it’s killed some of the bugs and lurgies that were waiting
for some innocent hand to linger just a little too long over the bench.

I can say that if your home’s Personal Hygiene is important to you,
then these products get a tick from us!
If cleaning and germ killing were super powers I think Dettol would be wearing a cape!

Disclosure: This is not a paid sponsored post.
I received a bottle of Dettol Power & Pure Multi Purpose trigger spray
and a tub of the Dettol Power & Pure Multi Purpose Kitchen Wipes, for review purposes,
and all opinions expressed are purely my own.
