A Post With No Name??

"I encourage people to make something every day, but my goal is to foster more creativity, so if you make just one piece of art per week or just one for the whole month, that's fine with me. The idea is to bring more creativity into your life, not to make you feel overwhelmed, pressured or guilt-stricken."

just hits a spot in my heart! For more on how you can take part in Art Every Day Month head over to Leah's blog. I have added a button to my side bar and am hoping to do something every day, why not join in?

Today has been a flat maggot day. Now where does the term flat maggot come from? I am assuming it's an Aussie term meaning FAST/FULL ON... hmmm anyway, Lucy and I spent the morning visiting with my Great Aunt. Home via kindergarten, to pick up Elizabeth, dealt with all the washing and lunch before we headed back to pick up Megan and Jessica from school. Monday also means swimming for Jessica, it was her second last lesson for the year today. She has done really well and I am hoping to get all 4 girls enrolled in lessons next year, also hoping that those lessons are all at the one time but know that will be dreaming lol

Scrapped this this afternoon, had a huge urge to get my fingers on some paper so put this together!

Really wanting to paint but haven't had time so maybe tomorrow I will suck a spare second out of my day to pull out a canvas.
Stay tuned!!!

  6. what a great challenge Sharmaine, it will spur me on to create something each day. I've joined too :))

  7. I must say, try as I may, I couldn't find the origin of that vivid idiomatic expression. Nonetheless, I gather just from the description of your day which sounds like one of my Thursdays that by the time you were done you felt "flat as a maggot." Thus the term, "flat maggot day." not that I have ever truly examined one to see how flat one is.
