Thursday was the last day of school, for Megan and Jessica. They had a school picnic and enjoyed the day. I had been stressing, in a stress free kind of way, about when I would get things done so I took Elizabeth and Lucy to Mum and Dad's for the day/night and headed into town. Dave came in at lunchtime, by which time I had knocked off most of the list so we had lunch together, which was rather nice :) Dave then picked up Megan and Jessica from school while I headed home to find that the parcel man had been and I had to go collect this
The lovely people from Canon had emailed me asking if I would like to take part in their new Online community and had sent me a Selphy printer to use for the next three months, how cool! AND ITS YELLOW!!! Yum!! I had to wait till the weekend to set it up but have already printed out some photos and hoping to find time to check out the program it came with :) I love that it's really portable AND that it can print straight from your camera or bluetooth phone without having to hook up to a computer.
Thursday afternoon Dave flew out to Brisbane, for work, and Friday Megan, Jessica and I did some more Christmas shopping before going to Mum and Dad's to get Elizabeth and Lucy. Dave got home late Friday night. While I waited for him to get home I scrapped
Saturday morning Elizabeth came in to say "I just found this in my teeth". She handed me something, I turned on the light to find that she had pulled out her tooth, her first.
made me cry! Another of my babys has started loosing their teeth. Another sign of them growing up.... only one left now... boo hoo! But Elizabeth loves her gap ;)
On Friday I had taken the girls to buy their holiday cereal. Each holidays they are allowed a box of cereal, whatever they want. Through the year they eat cornflakes or weet-bixs so its a time when they get to have a box of their own choosing. Normally we only get one box but it just doesn't last long so this year they got a box each, but they share.
Saturday was also filled with a visit from Allison and other odd bits... ODD I SAY...
Sunday we spent the day at home, chillin' with some family time before our house guest, Dave's Aunty, returned. Summer has finally arrived and with summer comes...
Icypoles
and cricket
and we enjoyed both!
We also took some time to make these
ready for our Christmas giving :)
Made this mini album/altered board book for my sister, for Christmas.
I'd love to show you the inside pages, but my sister has asked me not to use the photos online so you will just have to be content with another shot of the front cover ;)
Speaking of my sister, it's her birthday on Christmas day. So I made this for her
Over the weekend we bought the girls some new outside chairs, they had previously had second hand plastic ones that had become brittle from the sun and broken.
Yesterday Dave had to fly to Melbourne for work, so the day started rather early. The girls filled the day with MANY things. Including hallway croquet
I made another mini/altered board book. This one is for Mum and Dad.
And now to today... Yup today I am 37. Dave and the girls gave me this
and there you have it... our week in a nutshell! Just waiting for Dave to get home from work, he had to go in to put in some papers etc and then he is on holidays till near the end of January YAYAYAYYAYAYAY, then we are off to Mum and Dad's for lunch.
Hope you all have a superly wonderful Christmas, I doubt I will be back in here before then, and stay safe :)

Happy birthday and Merry Christmas! I can't imagine having Christmas in the summer even though it never snows here. We associate Christmas with snowmen, snowflakes, etc. Regardless, it doesn't change the message of the season.
ReplyDeleteI wish you all the best,
Annemarie
