She Didn’t Let Us Down

Spring1

Spring came upon us and she was glorious.

First of the month, change of season and my last kit for Scrap-n-Crop
12 months since Project Scrapaway and the amazing opportunity to be part of Scrap-n-Crop’s kit Design team
Check our what Rachel made as well
With the the September kit I made 3 layouts for Dave’s Mum, they are journal free so she can add her own and we will take them over to her when we leave on Thursday

Firstly is this page of her Aunt and Uncle

Made the flowers by cutting circles from some of the paper and material and just stitching around them

100_6239

and I stamped a place for some journaling

This page is of Dave’s cousin’s wedding

100_6244

used the rubons, glimmer misted over the top and then cut out the title

Love this trim, its very yummy

and my final layout is of Dave’s Mum and her older sister

100_6267

also used the kit to make a journal

and a magnetic shopping list holder

Enjoyed the colour mix in the kit, just beautiful
Am sad that my Design Team stint is over but looking forward to what may lay ahead as new opportunities come up, none yet though lol

Today Lucy and I enjoyed the sunshine around home and cleaned the inside of the car, another job off my to-do-before-we-go list

I also scrapped this page using a photo, taken of Grandma with the girls in Launceston, from January this year

100_6565

Glimmer misted some hearts onto some brown paper, used some paints

100_6571

and correction pen with my sharpie :) :) :)

Pre kinder for Lucy and I in the morning and then some more from my to-do-before-we-go list :)

  2. I'm really enjoying your scrapbook pages. I love how you use paper, and material together. I can't wait to show my hubby so he can see I'm not the only one that saves brown paper form packaging to use. LOL What is a correction pen, I love that looks on your pictures. rainyday64@sbcglobal.net

  3. Gorgeous.

Funny because this morning our weather man said it was the first day of meteorological fall here in TX. :-)
We will be breaking out the oranges and browns and golds while you are bringing out the pinks and greens and lace. Isn't this just a wonderful world?

  7. Oh Sharmaine - have I told you that I'm totally in love with your messy lo's!!! Just love that flower centre at the top - looks like a sweet! :) Just wanted to tell you that your blossom picture inspired me to go lie on my back under my apricot tree and take a picture of the blossoms with the sun shining through it! Mine doesn't look as great as yours but I enjoyed lying there in any case! :)
