A Little Cold Rock

Before we went on holidays my Dad gave us some holiday money and told me to take the girls to Cold Rock
We didn’t think Ballarat would have one but on our very last day we were walking back down Sturt Street, the main street of Ballarat and what should be there on the very last corner??? Yep Cold Rock so that night, after dinner, we went with Grandma and Grandpa and had some very cool icecream, go check out the website and feast your eyes on their very cool concept
So enough VERY’s, here is the layout I made yesterday

I dyed some white lace with some turquoise Glimmer Mist and added some bling

100_7038

and here is what I call the Jenni Bowlin Corner

100_7037

Used some new Thickers from Love Scrappin’, speaking of which if you head over to Suzie’s blog she has ANOTHER giveaway happening

100_7040

the Jellibean Soup range are also available at Love Scrappin’, here I used ribbon, journal spot and Kraft paper from Jellibean Soup

100_7041

I used my new edger punch on the Kraft paper and couldn’t bare waste the punched out bits so added them to the page too :)

and the journaling on a October Afternoon die cut, nothing like mixing it up ;)

What else…

Rainy, I still haven’t forgotten about sharing how I made the pocket for the holiday journal, I have taken photos etc to show you I just haven’t had time to write it up, so it is still coming :)

The girls are off to Mum and Dads for the weekend, making the most of the time we have with Mum, and they are all excited about that!

Today Lucy and I went to visit a friend, was a fabulous day for all of us

And right now I am off to nuggle on the couch, sip my awaiting coffee and watch CSI :)

Pin It Now!

  5. OOOH! I love this layout - when you dyed the lace, did you spray it or soak it? Whatever, it's brilliant!

  8. Love this Cold Rock Layout Sharmaine. What a great memory to scrap. Thinking I must remember to do this next time we go to Southbank. It is the only time we buy Cold Rock - kind of like a bit of a family tradition. Would be great to scrap. Love Love Love that punch too - thinking I might just have to invest in one of those.
