I Want To Live In A Land Made From Duplo

But I think I would need to invest in a good pair of shoes so I could walk over all the bumps

This morning Megan finished building this

I love the line of marching Pooh bears, the zoo keeper talking to the polar bear and the lady pushing the pram oh and the penguin ready to slide down into the penguin enclosure oh and the couple having a picnic among the flower garden oh and the clown selling something out of his umbrella shaded cart, right next to the fuel tanker… Nice lol

Elizabeth’s speech session went ok, this morning
The missing tooth has played havoc on her ‘s’ sounds and that will get worse when the other wobbly front tooth finally falls out
So we go back again next week but for some sound recognition rather than having her make the sounds
It’s amazing how far her speech has fallen since her hearing went down but thankful that the grommets are in and we can start making steps forward again

Took her down to Mum and Dads, Lucy was out with my sister and nieces visiting a friend
So she got to spend sometime with Mum before they returned and we will be meeting my sister, Lucy and Elizabeth tomorrow
Megan, Jessica and I headed, from Mum and Dad’s, into town
I surprised them by taking them to see Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel

The photo is blurry because I changed the exposure to get a photo in the dark cinema

From there we went to have some lunch

and Jessica’s

By the time we got home I was TIRED!!
So to keep my mind off being tired I scrapped this page :)

Jessica liked my play on words/numbers, how I changed the TOOthy to 2thy

used a Such Sweet Tierney button with some Tim Holtz crackle paint

and the journaling which shows the ‘before I fixed my spelling and grammar’!! HMMMMMMMMM

  4. I must say that when James got his grommets his speech improved immensely. At three he wasn't speaking at all. At four and 9 months he has the expression level of a child 5 years 5 months. We are very glad about the progress he made in a year and a half. It is a lot of work, but fortunately the therapists made it fun.

    Sounds like a fun day.
