A Girl Oughta Have A Sense Of Humour

Last weekend I had some more time organising my scrap stash
And this page was the result of better organising
Using supplies that have sat for a long time
Using scraps that have worked their way to the bottom of the pile (the ever growing pile)
I’m happy with my reorganising
Happy that it means I am now mixing the old with the new and the little bits with the big

Here is a pattern paper from the newer Cocoa Daisy kit, die cuts from a previous kit

and mixed with bits from another Cocoa Daisy kit

here is a really old Scenic Route sticker (over in the corner… it’s a Christmas sticker!),
an old button that I have had for ages,
stickers that are newish and a new flair badge from Greatest View 

and this wooden tag

I bought from Such Sweet Tierney too long ago!

Bobby Wants A Pair Of Skates

Life is getting back to normal
today I helped out in the school canteen (big day again tomorrow)
picked up the groceries
Hang the washing
Folded 2 loads of washing
School drop offs and pickups 
Life is getting back to normal
I scrapped this page today
Using the Chevron Crafters Workshop stencil again
This time with a “Red Pepper” Adirondack Paint Dabber

Its Sunny But Raining, But Its Alright

Sunday saw us at the airport
With Opa, Dave’s Dad
Opa’s brother, in Holland, is dying from cancer so Dave and his Dad flew off, on Sunday, to The Netherlands
I have a few pages, in my head, waiting to be created and today I started with this one

“A week on Thursday”

That’s how I am thinking about how long Dave is away

The Hardest Part Is Knowing

Another cold and wet day

Another day trying to get washing dry lol

Another day where I played
This time I played along with the first April challenge at Show Us Your Stuff

I dyed some white flower ribbon with some yellow Mister Huey, from Studio Calico
I then rinsed it off, giving the different shades of yellow

I also used a journal tag from Such Sweet Tierney 

and had so much to say I also used a beloved shipping tag

This is another page that I have put away so she can’t read it
Same reason as before (see post below for more on that lol)

We'll Start With Raspberry Ice

The last challenge at Aussie Scrap Source, for their “Make it yourself” challenges,
Was to make your own transparency
so I pulled out a plastic bag and some ink and a stamp and got to work

Yes I did say plastic bag
A thin one that had come with something in the mail

Used a grid stamp, from Kaiser and that I had purchased from Love Scrappin’ 
Had lots of fun with paint on this page
Above and below the transparency

made the gorgeous Jenni Bowlin butterfly trail and cut up a doily

this is what I call my Such Sweet Tierney corner

the new Such Sweet Tierney shop went live a few hours ago and IT’S GOOD!!!!

I also glittered up a Scrapmatts chipboard word and love the light reflections it casts

We're All Goofy Goobers!

As promised I am back to share the third page I made using the WAY COOL new stuff from Such Sweet Tierney

The shipping tags are amazing

Yes I said AMAZING, see the splats?? You get them just like that.. YES I SAID AMAZING!

I cut up the gorgeous red polka dot button to make a heart, bitter sweet moment!

Still me favourite layout! So much I love… That green spotty paper is my fave,
machine stitching, doodling, masking tape and a brown paper bag…

Today was crazy sock day at school
So the crazies wore socks

Worked in canteen again today, as I do on Fridays
Lucy got stung by a wasp
Poor mite has two welt-y bite marks on her torso
Ouch-a-roony but just as well Mum was at school to give her some sympathetic cuddles with an icepack

Like A Lizard On A Window Pane

I did do a little giddy giggle when I opened up the envelope that contained my new Such Sweet Tierney products
I just loved playing with the new products London has been busy creating
The new site is launching on the 1st of April and all her new products will be available then

I’d Rather Be Catching Rainbows

Amongst the minutes of today I -
*Picked baby spinach leaves in the rain
*Emptied the dishwasher 3 times
*Stewed a pot of apples
*Made a yummy scrummy lasagna
*Made this page
