But I had to get it down on paper too :)
I made this page for Chatty Scrappers
Awhile back I had a request from them to be scraplifted
An honour!!
So I made this page especially for them
And am glad I now get to share it with you too :)
Some details
I used different papers from my scrap box
Cut up a Such Sweet Tierney chipbaord button and a I-dyed-it doily
Some mustard seed coloured Tim Holtz crackle paint
some doodling, some stitching, some “denium” coloured Kaiser pearls
a rolled flower and button from Fresh Vintage Crafts on etsy, topped with some pearls and a Maya Road pin
all finished off with some sweet nothings on a shipping tag
I look forward to seeing what the lovely ladies at Chatty Scrappers create :)
Today we finally saw snow
All mixed in with the rain :( :(
Yesterday was our turn on the carpark roster at Church again
Dave thought it would be cool funny silly good to all go wearing scarves, beanies or gloves
So we did
Yes Elizabeth was in a mood
But don’t worry it didn’t last
Might have had something to do with the lollies they got to eat while we ‘worked’
Yes Dave is wearing Lucy’s gloves on his ears!
which is probably the real reason he wanted us to go rugged up!
I also made the most of standing outside to FINALLY capture a spring blossom photo (or 2!)
and will now leave you with a photo, taken on the weekend, of my delightful sister,
just to show that we are from the same stock!
that’s a kiwi fruit quarter in her mouth.
Won’t show you the other photos of her with a jelly baby up her nose!
anyone that knows me is now nodding and saying hmmm yes that has to be Sharmaine’s sister!!
Great layout Sharmaine - and I love the pics!!
