Cocoa Daisy–Aspen Grove - Reveal

Today the October kit went live over at Cocoa Daisy
I can now show you the pages I made using the kit “Aspen Grove” and all the add ons
When you look at this kit I am sure you are thinking Autumn
The first page I created was about Spring
the first day of Spring in fact

After a cold few weeks the first day of Spring was completely different
It was like the sun remembered it was meant to shine
We spent the afternoon in the backyard enjoying the sunshine

I captured photos, via my phone and Instagram, throughout the afternoon and they all feature on this page
Titled “Springstagram”

A little while ago, at the dinner table, Lucy was eating some yoghurt
and I’ve captured her comment on this page

Love all of the October stamps
The file tab is a winner, for sure

as are the washi tape stamps!
Here I embossed them onto some of the brown paper that the kits come packed in.

I used some “Grapefruit” Zing, from American Crafts
To add splashes of pink to this page

I even altered the Pearls and made them pink!
I love all the Amy Tangerine products that are in the “Trailhead” add on

September is Grandfinal season for the Australian Rules Football.
We aren't great followers of football but Elizabeth LOOOOVES Hawthorn, one of the teams.
It's also my Dad's favourite team so I think that has a lot to do with it?!?
Some of the team visited out school last month and some of the kids were allowed to go see them.
Elizabeth was picked and boy did she glow!!
Last weekend was the semi final and her team won, so they played in the Grand final, which was today.
This page is all about how she has become a football fanatic and about her love of The Hawks (what her team are called).
I've added some resin flowers (from D-lish Scraps) and a flair (from Purple Pumpkin) from my own stash.

Folded some of the washi tape, found in the Embellishment kit, to create the rosette
And topped it with a “We R Memory Keepers” brad

I opened up one of the pockets (that are found in the”Switchback” add on)
and layered it under the photo

I typed up the journaling on a piece cut from paper found in the “Hidden Lakes” paper add on

Sadly, today, her team didn’t win
She wasn’t too upset but did have a few comments to say, to the telly, as the game unfolded
It was another nail biter lol
