There are some things I think that are important to say
and some things that I think are important to remember
and some thing that I think are important to scrap
this page is important
it was also fun to make
Crate pattern paper and a Crafter’s Workshop stencil always make me smile
lots of lettering and adding a cute Amy Tangerine camera make me smile
and this heart, that I made, makes me smile too
A while back I received a prize pack from the amazing Louise Nelson
In the pack was a gorgeous tissue covered in music print and love hearts
I cut out one of them, glued it onto some corrugated cardboard
Stitched around the heart
Cut it out
Added some dimensional glue
and ran a black sharpie pen around the outside
happy that something important has been said/remembered/scrapped!
Spied a colour challenge on the Crate blog
The gorgeous Tara Anderson has some amazing examples
and here is my take
used some scraps, yes I keep them this small
misted an alpha mask
Used white Studio Calico “Mr Huey” and Candy apple glimmer mist
to give a soft pink
some raspberry coloured thickers
and a little layering with Crate stickers and rubons
Yay for summer time!
The final challenge has been set for Aussie Scrap Source’s Style Lounge challenge
This week is Detailed Layers
I pulled out a couple of sheets of Crate that I had been drooling over and got busy creating
cut up the accent cuts paper
pulled apart some basic grey and sassafras lass layered flowers and re-layered them
wrote what I needed to say
added some paint and punched a paper strip with a Martha Stewart punch
yesterday my first Cocoa Daisy kit arrived
