I love seeing people design for manufacturers.
Kaitlin Sheaffer (also known as Ormolou) designs for Carta Bella.
I’ve been honoured to play with the Wildflower collection
As they teamed up with Page Maps for December.
The sketch I worked with…
And the page I created…
You can see the sketch and the other creations HERE
I was super stoked to be asked to be a guest for The Greatest View,
They were teaming up with Page Maps for October.
Along with the Greatest View Design team, the lovely Leeann Pearce, Nadia Cannizzo and Louise Nelson
We were all given a Page Maps sketch to work with
Gail, the owner of Greatest View sent each of us some of her yummy flair and we were given a colour palette to work with.
I tried to stay with the pastel
but as you can see I went bright!
I had no problem working with the flair though (hehehe)
And the sketch…
I made two pages with it.
On this page I flipped the sketch
And stretched the title to replace the two smaller photos.
Thanks Gail (and her team) for the opportunity to create.
Have I ever mentioned that I love flair?!?!!
The July kits are now live (and selling quick) over at Cocoa Daisy
I’ve made 3 layouts using various pieces from all the kits
I altered some elements
Adored other pieces
Had fun with some
Used some words, right from the heart
And made this page
I also made new things
Added lots of layers
Used little strips
Tore some paper
Cut some too
Wrote a few words
And made something special
I also stamped
Was inspired by a sketch
And created this page
And you have a chance to win one of the Main Kits

Busy day
Elizabeth had her “Ear Doctor'” appointment
Seems the 2nd grommet is out of the eardrum but both ears were looking good
As were her throat and nose
So we don’t go back for another 4 months, hallelujah :)
Lucy and I ran lots of errands but while we were home, which was in spits and spats,
I created this double 8.5x11 layout
based on this Pagemaps sketch, at Aussie Scrap Source,
I used some October Afternoon, Crate, The Girls Paperie and American Crafts products
The journaling, which is over 2 spots
Some machine stitching and ruffled sewing pattern paper
I used a Lindt chocolate wrapper to create the skirt on the dress form
Also a Heidi Swapp jewel and some doodling to make the necklace
and ohhhh how I love London’s chipboard buttons
This one is in the Christmas pack, love… LOVE LOTS
Had one kiddy-let home today
Runny bottoms and snot, shhhh did I just say that…
So while they got bored, with being home and not at school (and enjoyed some TLC),
I created this
using the challenge sketch at Aussie Scrap Source
Week 4 of their Pagemaps challenge
some close ups, using Echo Park and We Are Memory Keepers products, and you might see…
some whizzes with the sewing machine
some scribbling with a pen
a little squirt of mist and some journaling and I’m happy
Happy that another story is down on paper
A story that has been waiting almost 12 months, to the day!!
and Aussie Scrap Source Page maps sketch for week 3
for the single page layout…
Here is my take
using this sketch
and I have to say
I loved making this layout
and it is now my favourite
I used mostly October Afternoon products
and just had to use these smiley face stickers that were part of the Report Card range
and my all time favourite Such Sweet Tierney buttons
which I highlighted with my black sharpie pen
Today we spent the morning at our local market
Spent time with my sister and her girls
Was good
GOOD
GOOD
GOOD
Lots to see
splashed out and bought some poppys
and have a few sitting on my kitchen window sill
Did a little clothes shopping for Megan
which makes her happy
and makes me happy because she likes to dress up for photos
