I feel sorry for Dad's credit card...

After them being stuck in Alice Springs for over a week and having to pay for a new gear box you would think the credit card would have found time to work its way back into the wallet but sadly no...
This morning Mum rang at 7am. They had been in Rockhampton and due to travel south. She rang to say that they were returning to my brothers in Townsville because Dad's Brother had died last night. So I have booked them flights home and they will arrive tomorrow lunchtime and I will pick them up and take them home before they go see Dad's sister-in-law. My Uncle had Parkinson's Disease, in a mild way if you can say that, but it was his heart that stopped. He was a big man and he died last night sitting at the dinner table after dinner. Just a peaceful and satisfying end to his life. No fuss and no drama. He will be missed for his laugh. Is sad to think of Dad's family getting smaller and it made me reflect on Dad and what he means to me.
Is going to be a busy week, which it was anyway, but I know some girls who are going to love seeing their Poppy and Mashir again, even if it's only going to be a quick trip, as they will have to go back up to Townsville to get the Ute and then continue on their trip.
