Someone had their swimming carnival today
and what made me proud was the fact that Megan gave every race a go and had fun :)
Tonight we took the girls out for some pasta
and pizza
Our desert, we got 2 serves of the caramel tart and 2 of the chocolate chunk cheesecake and share it between the 6 of us, twas good :)
Last night I tried to oven bake some mini Roma tomatoes in olive oil
I had bought a pack, 500g, for $2 so thought I would try something new with them
Some olive oil, oregano from the garden and some garlic
Sadly I over baked them and most were blackened but will leave you with this photo, because they did look good before they got toasted! :)
Yay to Friday :)
YUMMY!!!! I wanna come over for dinner!!! And YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY for WINNING the RIBBONS!!! That is AWESOME! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
ReplyDeleteA good day all round Id say. Your tomato 'before' photo reminds me of the stunning cookbook photos by The Pioneer Woman..wonderful blog and recipes, stepped photos - worht a squiz, but not if you're hungry!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! Those are some great ribbons.
ReplyDeleteThe tomatoes looked yummy. I have had them roasted like that along side some chicken. Quite tasty. My favorite thing to do with them is to slice them as you did with some cucumbers and mozzarella cheese pieces and mix them with some sort of vinaigrette.
Hope you get some more at that bargain price.
wow well done to Meagan what an achievement. I love to experiment with cooking too and I must say I have had equal amounts of disasters as I have successes lol. The tomato pic sure looks yummy. Belinda
ReplyDeleteWow, those tomatoes do look delicious! Better luck next time :)
ReplyDeletesounds like a perfect day!
ReplyDeleteit made me hungry.
