My October kit over at Love Scrappin’!!
With the kit I made 3 pages, 2 8.5x11 pages and a 12x12
This first one is about the Crepe Factory, where we went for our last lunch with Grandma, Dave’s Mum
A bit of scissor action to make the title
a little scrolly ribbon with some paper
some scrunchy paper to make a folded ribbon border
some journaling and a yellow photo corner
and I used some Heidi Swapp Circle Frames, cut them up and made my own swirly scroll
This page is about Dave’s Mum and her ‘job’. She volunteers at Sovereign Hill and this is part of her day at work
Love the school paper and had to cut out the arm
cut up some of the chipboard
the journaling :)
and the last page I made was this one.
The photo was taken at the picnic spot where we had lunch on our way up to the boat to start our holiday
They had this HUGE tree that they had ‘recycled’
there was a hole in it, about 8 feet off the ground, Dave picked Megan up so she could ‘pose’ out of it and this was the photo I got as he pretended to to shove her through it
Love the Buzz and Bloom chipboard
and these thickers you can also get at Love Scrappin’
will be doing a little class over on Suzie’s blog soon, with one of the techniques I used on a page above
If your interested in the kit you better hurry it is very limited :)
The other day I stumbled upon a site called Scrapz.Biz and today I bit the bullet and put my name down for this
Something new… Something fun… wanna come join me?? It looks like a fun way to get the creative juices flowing :)

ReplyDeleteI wish we had a place like Sovereign Hill that was close by. I would so like to take my kids and my class to experience that. Do you think the school would let us fly to Australia for field trip?
ReplyDeleteVery wonderful layouts! I like the scrunched up paper ribbon effect you have there...I am using it (how bold ~:o) lol
