I Want To Eat A Chocolate Santa

This morning we started the ‘real’ countdown to Christmas
Lucy got to eat the very first chocolate from our advent calendar @ 25 sleeps to go :)

But first, back to 26 sleeps to go…
When we got up on Sunday morning
Poor Elizabeth awoke to find that her other ear had ‘popped’ through the night
We spent the day around home, mopping up her ear as it leaked
Jessica declared she was having a pajama day, so she did
She spent the day rugged up on a beanbag watching telly and in the afternoon I went to pick up Megan from her camp
She was a little wet but had a fabulous time
She got to change a car tyre and a bike tyre BIG NEWS for her lol
She got to make bush donuts, a jam sandwich that is fried and then sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar BIGGER NEWS lol
She was a little tired but won’t admit to that :)

The day four challenge, for the 12 days of Christmas, at Scrapz.biz, was to make a layout about someone's Christmas wish list
So I made this page of Lucy :)

I did some masking with Glimmer Mist and Shimmerz Spritz, added some depth with some kinderglitz (Glitter glue/paint) and splashed around some Tim Holtz distress crackle paint

I made the flower with a cup cake paper, pipe cleaner and a Such Sweet Tierney button, that I also kinderglitz-ed

The journaling

I also played with my Etsy purchases to make this page

Used one of the doilies and one of the buttons
Added some doodled and scalloped punched yellow cardstock, that I had stitched onto a circle punched piece of corrugated cardboard which I edged with some more crackle paint

Ignore the smudge, but do you see the journaling??

London sent me some buttons a while ago and added 2 tea bags to the package
I used the tea bag wrapper on this page

Because it was way too cool to throw away

and it still smells YUM!
Elizabeth had another day off school today
I spent the day building cubby houses, that Lucy would tear down and that Elizabeth would sit in and play
Elizabeth’s ears seem to have stopped umm leaking so it’s back to school for her tomorrow
Which she is already stressing about so it’s going to be an interesting morning :)
