I Want Good Times

The last two days have been hot hot hot
Monday I took the girls to the beach
We went early, before it got too hot and before everyone else thought the beach was a good place to be
We met up with my sister and her girls
We had fun
The water was beautiful
The girls got wet
I got wet
Good times :)
From there we went to Mum and Dads
and ate our prepacked lunch
and played with some more water
The girls got wet again
I got wet again
Good times :)

Yesterday was hot but not as hot as Monday
Didn’t get a lot of sleep though as it was hot overnight
We stayed around home
The girls mucked about
I baked
Blueberry muffins
Banana bread
Choc Chip cookies
Good times :)

Today Elizabeth had speech
Then we went to visit Dave, at work
Then called in to see a friend
Was meant to be a quick call-in-give-her-a-hug-and-leave visit
But it wasn’t
We ended up going for a little walk
To a creek, near her home
The girls got wet again
I didn’t
Good times :)

Came home
They got dry
We had lunch
We cleaned up
Ready for the builder man who comes tomorrow to fix the sunroom roof and a window
They played
I scrapped
Good times :)

Love Crate paper, have for a very long time, love the thickness of their papers
The journaling, care of the trusty typewriter

and had a play with some Kaiser pearls

And now we are about to jump in the car
Dad is having a thank you bbq
To say thanks to the people who helped him out while Mum was away etc
So I think it is just us and 2 lots of his neighbours lol but he is very grateful
As are we :)
Glad they are home and glad we can do things together
Good times :)

  6. Does sound like good times. We are jealous of the beach. We would have to drive 6 hours to get to a real one. There is a very large lake with a beach about 30 minutes from here, but it is way to cold to go and get wet.

    Hope the good times continue.
