I Want To Have A Cuppa With My Love

So I better hurry up and blog as he just put the kettle on!!
Today we had a visit from my pal Bron, who is home, with her husband, from the UK
They are awaiting the arrival off their baby and that baby is now LATE!!
So the girls mauled poor Murray and Bron, Dave and I nattered :) :)
After they left, and while dinner cooked, I got jiggy with the latest sketch from Lotus Paperie
I am not a sketch person at all
I usually find them a stumbling block rather than inspiring
I don’t ‘get’ them
Rarely draw them
And even rarer will I use them
But for some reason the sketch for challenge 158 got me
So I had printed out a copy and today I played
I turned the sketch on it’s side and altered it a little but here is what I came up with :)

some stitching

100_9352

and some Such Sweet Tierney buttons

100_9349 100_9351

and some much needed journaling

And one happy girl :)
Glad I gave the sketch a chance
maybe I will give another one a go soon…
maybe I will ‘get’ them soon…
who knows :)
