I Think Ice Cream Tastes Better When You Eat It With Those You Love

What a day today has been

Lucy had a birthday party to attend

was proud of her writing

 

she wrote each of the letters, as we spelled the words for her, without asking how you write them

Megan showed off what she made yesterday

her own puppet theatre
Complete with scenery to change as well as puppets

While we waited for Lucy’s party to finish we wandered around
Here are just 2 of the things we spied

and then we went here

squished our noses on the window

went inside to drool some more

before making our selection and enjoying

we then spent some time in the park where “the blue slide is awesome”

A good day but sadly for the wrong reasons
My sister has, what we hope is just, a slipped disc and is spending the night in hospital
Tonight we have a house full of precious little girls :)

I finished off a page today for the new challenge site The Color Room
Each week they will inspire you with a new colour combination, and a sketch which you don’t have to use.
The first challenge is up and I couldn’t say no :)

Stuck a few Maya Road pins into the chipboard letters

and the journaling, cos it didn’t feel right to make a page without that :)
