Fairy Cakes and Fancy Dresses

This week has been the first quieter one in a long time
Apart from yesterday Lucy and I have been hangin’ out around home
Yesterday we went and spent the morning out so we could have a coffee and morning tea with Dave
NICE :)
So today, with all the girls at school, I decided to make the most of the quiet and used the day to scrap
It has been cold today, finally feeling like winter lol, and I used that as another excuse to stay inside
I ended up scrapping 3 pages
This one I can share now
It’s using QTea’s latest kit Follow The White Rabbit and features on of our nieces, who recently turned 3

Lots of wonderful goodies in this Alice In Wonderland inspired kit

the Mulberry Muse Alice Tag is just one of the reasons you should check out the kit ;)

I even got REALLY creative and made my own cupcake

and a little journaling ;)

I like quiet, creative days ;)

A couple of weekends ago we had Opa (Dave’s Dad) and his girlfriend come to stay
They visited for 2 reasons
One was to see Uncle Samuel (Dave’s youngest brother) play soccer
and Two was so we could take Opa suit shopping, in preparation for Sameul’s wedding later in the year

So while they all went suit-ing, the girls and I wandered around doing some shopping of our own
Can’t go into town without checking out the cat and the fiddle

and after much nagging asking, Megan found a dress
She has been asking for a while now, to have a dress, with the dream of wearing it to an end of year dinner
Not sure what end of year dinner she thinks she is off to but we found this I-don’t-wear-dresses-type-of-girl a dress :)

All good :)

  3. Oh my gosh, I totally agree about not being able to miss the cat and the fiddle. It was a MUST to see as a young little tacker. I'm sure Mum was driven mad with our nagging to hurry so we wouldn't miss the cat and fiddle playing!!! You take some great entertaining photos. Love it!!!
