I'll Force A Laugh To Break The Silence

Sometimes you just need one little push in the right direction
Just one little thing to get you inspired
The lovely ladies at Escape2Create (A scrap retreat held in South Australia) have challenges from time to time.
I’ve always thought about joining in but haven’t (too shy lol)
But when I saw Amanda post a new one last night it was just the push I needed
So I created this page

the challenge was to use old rubons
So I pulled out an old favourite, Gin-X alpha rubons
I’ve had these…. forever! and I just love the font and how amazingly easy they are to apply
I “filled” in the empty space with a blue texta

the other rubons I pulled out was this one from Studio Calico

I have had them a while and always had plans for them but hadn’t used them
Till now!
And I also used the stick, that comes with the rubons
You almost always get one of these in a packet of rubons, so why not use them!

I also added some paper scraps and stitching to the top of the page

and, as per usual, played with a Crafter’s Workshop stencil and some texture paste
