A visit to a wedding, A visit to the emergency room and A visitor

First the trip to Western Australia for my youngest Brother's wedding.

Mum and Dad came to stay Thursday night so we could be up at 4.30am to catch our 6am flight to Melbourne then on to Perth. The sunrise from the plane window was nice ;)

Mum and Dad promptly did lots of this, although they did have an annoying daughter along for the ride so she attempted to keep them awake ;)

We met my other brother and his partner in the Perth airport and then had a 4 1/2 hour drive up to Geraldton, which is where the wedding was. Spent the rest of Friday and Saturday, before the wedding with them and the groom to be. Was nice :)

The wedding... spent most of the time doing this

with my camera and Mums lovely SLR whenever I could ;)

Sunday we did all the travelling in reverse, well not literally but you HOPEFULLY get what I mean, leaving Geraldton at 6am and arriving home after 9pm. Dave and the girls were there to greet us at the airport.

Monday I spent the day in my PJs, went back to bed after lunch, and then Dave pulled me out of bed at 3.30 to tell me to get in the shower and dressed up,

he was taking his girls, oh should I say 'boys' out for dinner, as a welcome home to his wifey and a thank you to his daughters.

And because we were all dressed up and we now LOVE the timer on the camera I took this :)

So we went for a walk around the docks to see some of the yachts that were still there from this

and then we went here to eat.

Got home and the girls went to bed. About 7.30pm Dave walked past Elizabeth and Lucy's room to find Elizabeth carrying on. Turns out she had this

stuck up her nose! So off to the emergency room we went. Just over 2 hours later we saw the Doctor and Elizabeth was able to blow it out... Lesson learnt me think!

Yesterday we went to Mum and Dads for dinner and bought back our 3 year old niece who had a sleep over with us.

So today was spent with much playing, laughter and other fun stuff, before we took her back.

Was just a lovely time. We are going to miss them when they head off again.

Speaking of off.... Suzie is having another 20% off sale at Love Scrappin' so please rush on over and save yourself some money :)

Suzie also awarded me this

Thanks Suzie and I pass it on to Kristina, Rosie, Brigitte, Allison and Mel

  1. Lovely family photo! You are so blessed to have such a beautiful family. I really need to learn how to use the timer on my camera and get a tripod... put that on my "to do" list.
