It's Only Words, And Words Are All I Have

Yesterday I posted a photo on Instagram
With some thoughts.
Today I printed the photo,
Added to the words
And scrapped this page

I was inspired by a title making technique that Wilna Furstenberg shared on a video for Two Peas 
She cut her title, with the Silhouette Cameo
But she cut several copies and layered them to add some height.
I cut my title 3 times in white
And then once in gold glitter cardstock.
Then stuck them all together.

I used a Cocoa Daisy stamp
On some washi tape

I printed my journaling
Using the Rough Typewriter font

And adding just a few embellishments
Because I wanted the words to speak loudest.

I had a thought,
there in my head,
I just didn't know
how to put it to bed.
So I sat and I wrote,
until it became plain,
that the thought in my head
was driving me insane.
So I held on to my sanity
and decided to stop
and that thought in my head
well it just went pop.

Creatures, company, comments and a dream??!!

Will start with the creatures!! They have started to hatch!! Here is photo taken at 8.30 this morning

And this one when they had been in the water for 24 hours.

Megan has a dinosaur, Jessica a crocodile while Elizabeth and Lucy have snakes.

Today Allison came to visit with 4 of her Day care kids. Was nice to have them here and it filled our day just beautifully :) Thank you Allison :)

While Elizabeth, Lucy and I were at the fruit shop this morning, rushing around before our visitors arrived, a lady came over and said how it was lovely to see such wonderfully behaved children. It reminded her of when hers were younger. How nice!! I told her yes they were good and we were very proud of our girls ;0)

Ok and on to my dream... I don't usually dream and often forget them quickly. But this morning I had one and I woke Dave to tell him. He and I were in a taxi on the way to the airport for a trip to England!!?? Anyway we were driving along when I realised that my passport was out of date... by over 10 years lol... So I said no i can't go because they would put me in jail and that Dave would have to go by himself... which is what happened. So I woke then and woke Dave to tell him how bizarre the dream had been. I then went on to say that I didn't panic at all through the dream, I had a solution for all the problems and that now I was awake and could place logic in my head I didn't get the whole passport thing because I would need a current one for visas so how silly was the dream!! Then wondered if it was because I now have to travel on the plane to Sydney by myself, but I'm not worried about that... seeing as I have travelled around the world that way lol!! although that was a long time ago... who knows what my mind is thinking!!!!!

Ok enough of my dribble, hope your weekend goes well. We are going shopping for a pair of pants for me tomorrow, yay... NOT lol

Lunch with my Honey

Had to laugh at Mel D's comment...Nanna nap... in this house??!!I think I would need a handsome prince to come wake me from my slumber if I took any kind of nap let alone a nanna nap! Just as well I have a handsome prince up my sleeve, but yes I sit and sigh at my days too!! I sit... hmm I try to sit... with a coffee...zzzzzzzz
Today we dropped Megan and Jessica off at school, petrol station (I don't like that no one is complaining that prices have gone up again) then headed to the supermarket to get some more watermelon, on instructions from Elizabeth who felt we needed to restock, and some rolls for our lunch. Then we waited (and waited and waited) for the library to open at 9.30. Returned our books and got out some newbies.
Home again, home again jiggity jig.
Refueled our energy levels, made some lunch and headed back out the door. We went to Dave's work and had lunch with him, much to the enjoyment (and entertainment) of his co-workers!
Home again, home again jiggity jog.
Wasn't going to put Lucy to bed but she begged me to do it, no ok it wasn't beg it was more like plead, no ok it wasn't a plea it was more of a OH MY GOSH I AM SO TIRED ALL I CAN DO IS BE CRANKY. Yep I think that is what it was. It worked ;)
Woke her an hour later and when she had finally woken up properly, i'd like to say the sleep helped but sadly it didn't, we hopped in the car again and picked up Megan and Jessica from school.
Home again, home again jiggity jug?? Jeg?? Jag???
Not long after that Dave came home YAY and so it's official IT IS THE WEEKEND!!!! Hip Hip (say it with me people) HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RAY!
So now with a coffee, tea, kids in bed and the night ahead of me I feel like a new woman... no I don't... sorry folks don't know where that came from!
So I really do hope you have a truly wonderful weekend, enjoy every moment and think of me tomorrow night, slaving away at Allison's for a pizza and scrap night HEHEHEHE I know it will be tough work but I hope to do you proud and come home with some layouts to showoff :) Ok so I think that's it from this neck of the woods.. why do they say neck of the woods... where is the rest of the woods?? The chin, the waist... the armpit.... ok I AM GOING NOW!!!
