and so I thought I would join in too
Here are 6  (new to me) blogs that I think are worth a read

1. Baby Bushnell is a blog I have only just started reading. Tricia’s husband and son both have EB, which is the skin condition our eldest has.
2.  A blog I have been wanting to read for a while, but sadly haven’t because of time, is Annie Bakes just thinking about her blog makes my mouth water!!
3. Little Arty Crafty Crow is a local blog that I stumbled upon while looking for information re a market that was on last weekend. Her work is AMAZING!
4. My Three Ring Circus is a blog I have also just found and was drawn in to read, gotta love when that happens!
5.  Hot Cross Mum is a UK blog and I love the way she writes
and lastly 6. Delightful Dozen is a blog with 12 bloggers and I just love strolling through their wonderment of photos.

And Now For Something Completely Different

A busy day... that's usual lol

Megan had cross country, Jessica an excursion and they all had the mother's day stall at school.

Today Lucy and I went to visit my Great Aunt, as we do most Fridays.

Dave picked up the schoolies, yay.

While Lucy and I waited at home we played a little bit of this

totem tennis. She enjoyed making faces and poses :)

So that was my day, mostly ;)

In the mail yesterday I received this from Tara on etsy and this from Q-Tea.

Today I received this, the acme kit

from Gauche Alchemy through their Art Fire store.

Some of things that are also inspiring me right now, although I lack time to work on that inspiration, are:

New challenge blog The Copy and Paste Project.

One Little Word have turned 2, celebrating with oodles of prizes as well as their never ending inspiration. Go say Happy Birthday and thank Ronda for taking hold of her idea and running with it :)

And yet another challenge blog, The Spark

Worth a look, even if you don't take up any of the challenges :)

Haven't had time to blog, or even time to think about what to blog, but just had to tell you about this one amazing thing.




Jane got together with Kim and they have made this amazing project where all proceeds go to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal. For $5 you get 2 sheets of PDF designs that you can print and use as often as your little heart desires. The $5 also allows you access to the classroom where a team of talented people will show you examples of how they used the designs. Tumbling into Tuesday

and it was another busy day.

Lucy requested we stay home today.

We did but it was busy.

Elizabeth had Speech Therapy after kinder so we didn't get home till after 1.30.
After lunch we were outside, Elizabeth and Lucy wanted to ride their bikes, till Dave got home with Megan and Jessica.

Heard some going-on's in our bed room so went, with camera in hand, to investigate. Dave was in there, with his guitar, and all the girls were just chillin' as he played. He had put on the tie Elizabeth had made/given him for Father's Day.

While our roast chicken cooked in the oven and Dave played football with the girls outside I scrapped this page

This is actually the second last of the holiday photos that I had printed out so I think I need to go through my 'to print' folder again and print out some more.

Not much to say...

Other than it was a 9am game, not a 10am game, for Megan and I didn't realise this until 5 minutes before we left and as I sat down to a bowl of porridge.... HMMMMmm

They are still to win a soccer match but they are playing so much better than at the beginning of the season and all are still enjoying it.

Made a start on a page for Project Scrap-Away, will see how that goes, and so don't have anything to share. So I thought I would look back at this day in 2007 and found this...

My best friend Bron. She had been to visit after returning from her trip to see Murray in Indonesia. So 12 months on... they are married, will be a year next month, and now in England... Time moves on so fast!!!

Madness on Monday...

well not quite madness.. more like never sit mondays lol

Today we dropped the girls off at school and then Lucy and I came home for an hour to tackle to usual Monday washing, Monday's are 'wash day' with the towels etc being washed on Mondays anyway enough of that... Then we went in to see my Great Aunt again. She is doing ok, definitely a lot of fight left in her and we will go back in and see her tomorrow. Left there to get Elizabeth from school and then home for lunch and then back to school to get Megan and Jessica before Dave got home to take Jessica to swimming... phew that was the day :) So now some photos of the bits when I wasn't too busy I couldn't take photos...

Also have to share with you this, SwapDex its a cool blog all about swaps. Cool Mel is hosting a kiddy craft swap and mentioned this blog on her's, so I nicked it from her cos I think it is rather fabby. It has info of all kinds of swaps that are happening so it is worth a look and bloglining for future reads!!

That is what Grandma informed me on messenger this morning, before running away with a quick bye!! Thanks Grandma, you beat me ;)
So Dave is back outside 'lighting' again. Here he is last night up the ladder...

I can hear the ladder clunking around, bless him ;)
On a scrappy note, a new blog has started up Artz De Scrap for those who like to alter things, which isn't me but I love the inspiration that the blog is creating, all the best Liza and Wati :) They are looking for design team members so why not go over and check it out :)

I also scrapped this layout last night.




Is using the challenge sketch at Scrapdragons. Is my first ever layout from a sketch. I found it hard although it came together very quickly. I should have used a smaller format but thought a 12x12 would be better to fit everything on. I really struggle with using someone else's "idea" for my layout. So much rather have the freedom to develop a layout as I go. I liked that this challenge was easy enough to follow and that it brought the layout together quickly. Happy to have started on some of the wedding photos from Saturday!

I also found this challenge site, Category Stories, that will be starting soon. Well worth checking back to in the future!! Looks like fun. I also found a few other challenge blogs and have added them to my side bar if your up for a challenge :)

Where has my Saturday gone???

Spent the morning transferring SOME of the things from my old computer to my new one. What a loooong process this is, but it is slowly getting there. Still to hook my camera printer dock up so no photos to share so will share some other bits and pieces.
After lunch Dave and I went to soccer. I watched, he played (won 4-2). Was a very cold wind blowing so I sat in the van.
Came home via Mum and Dad's, to pick up the girls. All 4 of them were half way up the drive with their bags on their backs!! They had conspired together and were walking home!! Glad we got there when we did!! They were very razzed up so it was a noisy drive home. Made homemade pizzas for tea and now they are all in bed YAY.
Ok so will share some bits and pieces now

Something a little lighter... much lighter! The girls came home singing THIS *sigh* lol this is how they are... Hear something once and they will catch on and sing it forever!! Megan told me she likes the drummer!!!
